2000 LC: So after a few tries, I got her to finally go into "programming" mode per the instructions from Remote Remote.com, but the new fob will not take. Then the locks started acting up when using the manual control on the door. Disconnected the battery for about ten minutes, reconnected and the manual locks seemed to work fine again. Odd.
I'm wondering if there is something wrong with the keyless entry on the vehicle side. I've also noticed that the little red car "immobilization" light, next to the clock is not coming on at all anymore. Is the immobilization system and the keyless entry system on a single fuse somewhere? I checked the covers of the fuseboxes, but didn't see anything that resembled "security system" "wireless entry". Kind of stumped right now.
Anyone else bang their head on this particular problem?
