I am putting my new ICON Six Speed wheels on today and was wondering what they should be torqued to. Should they be torqued per the factory specs? Or is there a new value? Checked ICON's website and didnt't find anything.

Your torquing the bolt vs the wheel. If you didn’t change the wheel studs and they are factory. Then Torque to the factory “bolt” spec.

Thanks guys! That is what I figured. I have seen different torque values before for alloy vs steel wheels, so I wasn't sure about these after market wheels.

I test fit them this past weekend, but had to remove until my lift is installed. I fitted the wheels with 285/75r17 BFG KO2.

If I removed the mud flaps and also get my TJM from bumper installed. They may fit. Here is a pic.

For reference - same wheels and tire size with no lift. vs ~2" (actually more like 1.5" in the second photo due to cruiser lean that has since been corrected).

You will need to remove the front mud flaps and hit the metal bracket behind them with a hammer to make enough clearance.

Without the TJM you'll need to do a bunch of trimming of the plastic liner in front. It may not rub when parked and turning the wheels, but when you make a right turn and get a little body lean people walking by will look at you when they hear the tires rubbing the plastic.

BFG TA/KO2 285/70R17 should fit fine without a lift, as that's the standard tire Toyota recommends with the Rock Warrior wheel. You can add an OME lift or just strut spacers, but neither should be needed for clearance if you use a +50 offset wheel. Keep in mind that a lift doesn't really buy you clearance on the front IFS, it just changes the starting point (i.e. a 2" lift gives you +2" of up-travel but -2" of down-travel). The rear solid axle is a different story.

With the +25 offset Icon wheels you might still need to remove mudflaps and/or the forward "mud" flap (air dam?) because the lower offset increases the arc of the outer edge of the wheel, which can cause some rubbing in places that the +50 RW wheels would clear.

Awesome!

Here is a picture with the Icon Six Speeds and 285 70 17 Goodyear Duratracs on stock suspension. I had to remove the front mud flaps, pull the front of the fender liners forward and occasionally I will get some minor rubbing I believe on the body mount behind the removed mud flap. Will need to hammer on it a bit. Hope this helps.

That is stock suspension?

It looks level...

I searched for ICON Six Speed hoping someone had posted pics of these with 285/70 R17 tires and voilà here it is. Its even on a black 200 like mine. I am considering Duratracs too. Are you still happy with the wheels and tires?
