new I6 idea (1 Viewer)

Anyone thought about or have used a [SIZE=-1]Vortec 4200 I-6 in a FJ40 build? I would think that this would be a great option. Good power and keeps it a I-6

Any thoughts or ideas?

The i6 in those has a real funky oil pan with some of the IFS stuff on it... I looked at my father's Envoy to see.

Both the new I6 and I5 are supposed to be supper torqy verio cam, vvt what ever they call it

I figured that most things GM would bolt up to the block. And I have seen them on craigslist for around $1000. That was low miles and with computer. Seems like a good way to get 275hp and 275lbs/ft.

Did not know if anyone had seen it already or was thinking the same thing.

I know there are not many 40's around if any that have done this.
