My girlfriend (soon to be wife) and I bought the family house from my folks about 3 months ago. We set out to do some improvements to the yard, and being a landscaper I kinda knew what I was up against... I should clarify, major yard renovations is more like it :D

Did I menton that we are getting married the end of Sep and the party is at the house?:D

So far we have removed 20ish trees and large shrubs that you could call small trees, rebuilt the outside shower (especialy for smelly farmers coming to the wedding party) Rebuilt the front walk way, and now are almost done with the grading and loam spreading. Irrigation is planned for this weekend and the barn should be ready to move my business in next week :hhmm:

every body loves pictures, so heres a few

Git on it.

Damn. That is a ton of work.

Look forward to seeing it, and peeing on the new sod.

there will be no sod in my yard. F sod, too many problems, going hydro seed, should have green fuzz in about 3 days after its sprayed
:D

minus a small spot where I have peed it away.

I am down on August 28th, BTW. Headed to Boston that fri night for a sox game, but pulling the weekend on cape.

So I can expect the usual 15min 1 beer visit? :flipoff2:

Pat the wood is usless, nobody burns it because of the soot/creasote factor. With the pitch in the wood its extrmly smoky and dosnt throw much heat... but I do have a few select Black locust that I am waiting on taking down just for fire wood :hillbilly:

LD, you have a new nickname, we are going to call you 'iceman' LOL

I got about 8-10 lg (10-16ft) pine logs and about 6 tons of boulders ready to be driven on and burned in a campfire :D

Got hydroseeded yesterday! WOOHOO now I get to watch grass grow! :D
4 weeks and counting

Don't worry, it'll come in nice and full when you are through puberty.
