I'm new here and after a lot of years of yearning I now have my first FJ yea!! The problem is it was retro fitted with a Chevy 350 and it has a 3 speed transmission motor is junk can someone please tell me what motor and 4 speed transmission will be compatible with the transfer case? Any help would be greatly appreciated thank tou

There are different subsections on the forum that would be better suited for your question. If you type the year into Google you can figure out what your FJ is calles (40, 60, 80, ext).

I know it is an FJ40 I'm trying to figure out what motor and trans will fit with the transfer case that is original or if there needs to be an adapter thank you for your reply
