been looking at Toyota land cruisers for a long time, waiting for the 25 year old diesels to be able to come to the states. been a diesel tech for close to 30 years (must be getting old) all ways had a Toyota of some kinds. I have had a 85 sr5 ext cab 4x4 since the 90s flat bed wood hauler now. last few years been messing around with 4 runners trying to imitate land cruisers my shop vehicle is a 02 4 runner limited toyatec lift.
I have been looking at a 89 bj 71 13bt that was on eBay awhile ago. searching on the interweb I can pretty much follow it from the importer to a member on here to the guy selling it. seems like a decent price with the work that has been done to it. I tried contacting the member that owned it.
anybody on here install a wabosta heaters on there 13bt? from north Dakota so it gets cold
is the whole vehicle 24 volt or are the accessory's 12 volt?

We have a diesel specific forum for diesel and 24volt electrical , it makes it easier to search in future. On this model ,its all 24 volt. some of the 80 series are 24/12v hybrids. Larger japanese trucks are all 24 volt from what I have heard ,so some components like small globes can be sourced from them
There were some lengthy discussions on the diesel forum regarding the webasto heaters and others.

You wont find any 13BT or BJ7* specific Webasto threads on this or the deisel forum. I searched both before installing my Webasto in my BJ74 last fall. I've been meaning to do a write up on it but never got around to it yet..... But if you got any questions fire away

I did try to search but im not to putor literate, I used to do quite a bit of work on wabasto heaters, I am a pro heat rep and I do have a couple of pro heat x45 heaters laying around but they are quite large and I don't think there will be room on the cruiser to mount it.
now i just have to get over the price of these diesel cruisers and find a decent price on shipping from Kentucky to nd.

My Webasto Thermo 50 is also a large unit. With definitely no room for it under the hood I found the best place was on the right frame rail under the fan shroud. As I'm sure you already know mounting it low is better anyhow. Once the factory skid plates are reinstalled it is also very well protected.
