Hi everyone! I’m a filmmaker based in Japan (Yamanashi). Here is some of the work I do for anyone interested:



I have just purchased used KZJ78W, as most of my work takes me off the beaten path and I need to carry a lot of equipment and my filming partner...

While at a remote volcano location in southern Japan (Kagoshima), our transfer case (more specifically the bearing for the front rotor arm) shattered. After long search I have found amazing wealth of info, pictures, diagrams and guides here on this site. I can not thank enough to everyone who has taken their time to share their wealth of knowledge and experience...!

On my part - as I am based in Japan - if there is anything I can help to other members with (like finding parts - or even whole cars, etc...) - please do not hesitate to ask!

I too have owned a KZJ78W. We loved that truck.
Although my only experience with Japan was a six month stint in Okinawa, I have always wanted to return and see more of the country. Your film is stirring that desire again!
It’d be great to see more pictures of your cruiser in cool places.

After long search and several dead ends - I have found a replacement transfer case and my Prado has finally been fixed! I should get it back from the workshop next week. Can’t wait!
