Welcome...
I note that Rubithon folks are recommending at least 34" tires, 35" or better preferred, on FJCs to do the Rubicon... I have 33"s and, hence, will be keeping my FJC TT away from that trail.
Anyone here try the Rubicon with only 33"s and a mild (2.5") lift?

Didn't Toyota do it with a stock FJC?
Kind of...from my understanding, the Toyota Trail Team had: 285/70/16's, Budbuilt skids, ARB front bumper w/Warn 8k winch and a "spacer, leveling lift" on the front, OEM sliders and very skilled drivers...![]()

Yep. Three trips successfully, last year broken ring gear (faulty e-locker)Thanks Woooody. Did you take a FJ Cruiser through? If so what type of mods?
It's the last part I'm still working on...![]()
For me the interesting thing about deciding to do something for the first time is the excitement of doing the event but all so the dread. I am in the process of gather as much information as I can as to what I need to do to the FJ. I will post up later as to what I have done so far. Thanks guys.
