New guy here! Not really into forums, sorry, but I saw a set of wheels I’m interested in and had to sign up etc. Admin said an into is nice so here it is. I live in Flagstaff, AZ… AZ native. Drive a 2002 Tacoma standard cab. Original owner. Rolling on Kings with TC uppers, lower Uni-Ball, gusseted knuckles, etc. Alcan rear leafs. ARB rear air locker that ZUC installed and also rebuilt rear 3rd. LC Stage 1 long block, Haltech Elite 750 ECU. Naturally aspirated endurance motor. LC heavy flywheel and HD clutch. Flpi-Pac camper, no bed build-out or bolt-on “Overland” stuff. There’s 240k on the truck. Intesersing factoid: I’ve done every single oil change! I think I coulted about 65. I’ve done all of the work myself (except install ARB in 3rd and obviously LC built the motor). I think the “Overlanding” movement is a car show mall-crawler pasttime. I have a Hi-Lift and I know how to use it, but that doesn’t mean it lives on my truck. If you find me at the Overland Expo in Flagstaff it will be at the beer garden.
