hello all. Im new to the site but ive been searching here for years. I have a 2014 TTUE thats about to get the first wave of new upgrades. I am always looking for new people in new areas to trail or overland with.

What mods do you have in mod?

I liked the trail teams because it had a lot of things i already wanted such as rock rails, the better shocks and rear axle, and off road package. But there’s always room for improvement! Lol. I added a used Baha roof rack and a custom set of drawers for the back. the next wave is wheel spacers, preparing for a bumper (i.e. moving some things around in the engine bay), and getting better springs for the rear to better support the load of my overland gear and roof top tent.

did you just buy this thing used or did you buy it new? I'm one of the other guys with the TTUE. Oh my first mod was to install a passenger arm rest and a receiver hitch, which should come with it in my opinion. What gear shifter came on your truck the black trd one or the crappy plastic silver one I have?

My guess would be 8.2" vs. 8" on pre-2010 models.

WES1977- I bought her brand new! I too went out and got an oem hitch. but I got the TT shift knobs. Im slowly fazing them out with FJ40 knobs. The 4W drive knob is very smmiler to the 70s era knob.

mattv94- its not that the trail teams is diffrent its just the later year axle I wanted.
