Hi all, new here and to the 80 series. I've had my 94 1FZ-FE for 6 months, just had it roadworthy and out bush for a couple of weeks. Happy little camper! So much I want to do to it but starting with the things it needs first. I mean I've already done a bit and started adding some bling now I've got my rwc. Going to see a mechanic to firstly check out my handy work and secondly go over it with a fine tooth comb. He does not want to do any of the work, he has had few and doesn't need the extra work. I've already done the 3 seals in front but I do need to do the rear main seal. This beast has 600,000 km so I'm going to do everything. I'd like to do it all myself but I don't think I can do the rear main seal in the dirt driveway so my mechanic suggested I get someone to service the trans and get them to do the seal then. Anyway that's enough verbal diarrhoea, cheers for all the help already and for all the help to come.

Welcome! Pics are a good thing here. ‘94 was a good year. Congratulations!

Welcome aboard!

Before you do the rear main, check the rocker cover and upper and lower sump, these are often misdiagnosed as rear main leaks.

Hey guys just wondering if anyone has a parts list or anything of the like here for compatibility of the 80 series? I'm interested in knowing if or what parts are compatible with all 80s and what other Toyota models can be Interchangeable. The supra for example has the same part number as Fzj80 for the O2 sensor or the 105 has the same suspension parts. Do the radiator or heater hoses of the 1hd Interchangeable with the 1fz or is the alternator the same.
