New FJC Owner

Hello,
Guess I will post this so that message about introducing myself will go away.

I just bought a 2007 FJC Voodoo Blue Manual cause Auto sucks (base model, cause thats all the American Auto sales here in Germany will let me get). But thanks to this Site I have added ATRAC for $40-. Bought the Roof Rack off Ebay, Added a AFE Cold Air intake, Passenger Arm rest for the Wife, And just ordered the 3-Gauge cluster on the Dash,soon want to get a front grill gaurd and some FOG/DRIVING Lights, Oh and thank God it came with Black steal wheels, Love this thing speaking of that My wife wanted the H3 but I told her I wouldn't buy anything American, thats all I need is an expensive SUV that won't out last the payment cycle but she is on-board now she loves it and begs to drive all the time (Maybe Someday she'll get to) If the Truck version ever comes out and we buy that. I have gathered alot of great info here and maybe so day I will have some to give.

I honestly haven't takin any its just stock but I am going Snowboarding if a few weeks in the ALPs so I will take some pics to post

good luck with that manual here the throw out bearings dont hold up well and tcaseson manuaks like to get stuck in 4lo. ill keep my auto thanks.

Hey that maybe but when I replace a clutch and a throw out bearing it will be alot cheaper than your transmission rebuild. But to each its own I just like manual better, you actually get to cortrol the thing and with a 6 year 75,000 mile warranty who cares what breaks the local toyota dealership here in Germany has to fix it.

What is this "tcaseson manuaks" is that English?? I don't think that was on the build sheet but I will check

dont plan on having problems with the auto trans for it was made to be mated with the v-8 fourrunner

Put it in neutral at red lights and the t/o brg. will last forever! if not Toyota will replace it. I like the full time FWD the MT6 brings. The mileage is a bit less but I didn't by it for the MPG.

Hey ADSO and Woodeye thanks I know that this site has alot of info and can't wait to do some wheelin here in Germany,
As far as the Manual goes I love it and I will take the Poor Gas Mileage, I wasn't argueing with the other guy, in my opinion Autos for Soccer Moms and Grocery Getters but I have been here in Germany for 8 years so Automatics are pretty unheard of here but the FJ loves the AUTOBAHN and the 6th Gear comes in handy
