Purchased new to be used in my '78 FJ40. The 40 has a new H55 transmission and I ended up fabricating a tunnel using a portion of the original tunnel and part of a damaged tunnel.
The tunnel that is for sale had 2 drain holes for for the early model 40 cowl vent drains. I had already welded these up prior to us building the project tunnel. The welds were the treated with self etching primer. All that is needed is a thin coat of filler prior to paint. Should the buyer wish to reverse this process, it is easily accomplished with a step drill.
