This may be the result of some of the coding your doing and, on the other hand, something you haven't seen yet... but I was getting these messages repeatedly this AM:

Warning: php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: Temporary failure in name resolution in /home/forum/Sources/Subs.php(374) : eval()'d code on line 9

Fatal error: Failed opening required 'http://www.ih8mud.com/meta.inc' (include_path='.:/usr/share/pear') in /home/forum/Sources/Subs.php(374) : eval()'d code on line 9

Anyway, just FYI.

Thanks again for all of your efforts.

Cheers, Ron -

Yeah, I'm blaming the sysadmin for that one...hehehe
I believe we totalled about 3-4 minutes of downtime...lol

Quote from our YM conversation this morning...
"Remember that spam filter I set up to rebuild itself daily? Well, it went haywire this morning and killed the server while it was doing its thing. I modified the command to lower the amount of CPU usage its allowed, so it can't hog up the server like that again. I knew it ate up CPU but I underestimated the impact on your server. And mine (I use it too)"

Thanks tho for noting that...sometimes I think it's just me!

(Tech content: always change your filters...)

... Might be connected with the note I sent you this AM Woody . I did some digging , and it seems that same url snippet was all over the web . Usually residing in php based sites with ?online data . Not surprised that site seems down .... google has tons of stuff cached from them though . The obvious source is a server in Hungary .. but Brazil seems to come up as well . Perhaps it got by the spam filter this time while it rebuilt ? *shrugging*
