Hey all... I just relocated from Texas to Connecticut for work and want to introduce myself to the local club here. I was told some CT guys float around here?

Here is a pic of my FJ80 in the garage

Unfortunately my Cruiser was not happy about moving... See thread :https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/i-am-in-a-pickle-3fe-problem.823994/

I'll be moving into a house in the Shelton/Milford CT area (still looking) but living out of hotel until then. Once I get stable and get the cruiser back up and running, I'll be active around here...

I'll pass on my Texas greeting... :flipoff2:

hehe.. Thanks

Welcome to CT. I will send you a PM for a reliable cruiser friendly shop close to where you are.

Welcome.
I live in Shelton. Its abetter place to live than Milford IMHO.

Where is your cruiser now?

Welcome! Thanks for the phone call last night. Chill will is referring to the shop in Orange I was telling you about. And it looks like you found Landtank.

:flipoff2:

Thanks for the welcome, my cruiser is at Stellers Garage in Shelton..

I've had to work late and haven't been able to see the cruiser. hopefully this weekend i am able to figure out what's going on...

Being it to over the edge automotive in Orange CT and the will help you out. Ask for Jim and tell him Will sent you. Here's a nice diesel conversion they are working on

That looks great... But I know almost nothing about diesels, I don't think I've even turned a wrench in one..

I'm going to call these guys and see what they can do. appreciate it!

To catch everyone up, it turns out it was the CAM Gear that popped... Just a crazy breakage...

The guys at Over the Edge are working to get it right...

Thanks... Since the transport, I haven't put it back together.

I have the roof rack in the back of my truck and the rear bumper/carrier is in pieces...

Hopefully I can get it back on the road in the next week or 2...

My Cruiser is back! The guys at Over the Edge Automotive got it back up and I drove it home today. Those guys are pretty awesome. Thanks for recommendation!

Now I need to get some miles on it to see how this CAM gear holds. Before I get on the trail, its going to be grocery getter for while. Hopefully it'll be good for the first run in April.

Thanks again all!

It's official, I finally fell and busted my ass today... I realized that if my feet can't handle the snow/ice mix, my left ass cheek has more than enough grip to catch me.... FOOK my cheek is sore... :(
