Well..i've been a member for a couple of years not but never participated in the forums much. Due to selling in SA and moving to Floresville and other "responsibilities" I have neglected dumping cash into my cruiser. I am happy to say that i am ready to drain some savings, have the wife wonder what are in the Fedex'd boxes, hope that she will bring me cold lemonaide while i' working on the FJ and finally attending some of the Monthly meets.
I currently have a 74FJ40 and i'm pretty happy with what it has now. Things that i plan to do to it...short term: Replace seats with some custom bucket seats, replace doors (minor rust) Replace Fenders (Major Dents) Add some automatic nerf bars or Power steps (This is my way of being considerate to my wife so that she can get into the Cruiser (36" Tires)
removing stock heater and installing vintage air AC, replacing roof liner and miscellaneous worn interior parts i.e. dash, seatbelts, jump seat covers......phew. Hope i can get to meet you guys on the next meet.
