Sold my front bumper. It is on its way to a new home in Alabama.

I did pick up an ARB for a song and a dance though from Kyle (72rockcruiser). It has been modified for more clearance though.

Finally attached my winch to it.

And found a killer deal on some Light Force striker 170's

Here is pic from Slee's site
Slee - Auxiliary Lights

I plan on doing an HID conversion on them at some point.

I'll take more pics when I get it all together.

I also had enough money left over from the sale of my bumper to buy all new OEM front control/radius arm bushings to try and stop my death wobble.

Old bumper, stuck a little too far out. I always liked the way it looked but I got it hung up a few times last year.

After I removed the old one I decided to paint the grill and the light frames. So off they came.

Lost out on the lights. I wasn't sure if they would fit and the guy couldn't hold them for me any longer because he was leaving this monday.

I should have bought them anyway. Lightforce HID's are hard to come by for that price.

Looks good dude!
I've contemplated clearancing my allpro bumper as well (the new ones are sold w some space) - so far hasn't been an issue, but next time I pull it off might should consider it further.

Looks good!

I'm happy with my end of the deal too, got the tires on and they look great.

Still working on brakes....Ill swing by one day let you ck it out.

Well after I lost out on the last lights I found some more from a guy in wilmington selling cheap.

900 SERIES HID OFF-ROAD LIGHTS WITH INTERNAL BALLAST | Deltatech Industries

Picked em up for about 1/10th of the cost. Can't wait :grinpimp::bounce2::bounce::banana::beer:

6000 Kelvin..... not sure what that equates to in Lummens?

That company is very big in Europe and are starting to get big over here with jeep and hummer products, great reputation.

The HIGHER the Kelvin does not equate to HIGHER the brightness (Lumens)...all things being equal 4300 is brightest. I am sure someone has a easy chart or something...but simply put Kelvin is the color of the light...and lumens is the measurement of intensity of light.
Higher you go from 4300 the more blue they will look....lower you go the more yellow they will look.

Do you want to look like a Hummer or a Jeep...:D :D :D

I believe i've found the answer..... 2500 lumens is what i've found for these on two different sites...... Is that bright compared to others??? I have no clue but I know that the pictures make them look bright. :grinpimp:

Now are you offering me a Hummer...... just not to sure about you :flipoff2:

you must have me confused with someone in another club.....I knew you guys were backwoods but now I know why Jason's dog gives you a wide berth! :P :P That jar of peanut butter was not for sandwiches I guess...LMAO

LIghts came in last night.

These suckers are big. 9 Inches across the housing (I think roughly the same as the 240 lightforces)

They also throw out a ton of light, I blinded myself last night on accident. I hooked them up to one of my power blocks in the engine (pointing it away from me) and they didn't come on. I fooled around with it for a while and then realized that my battery ways unhooked from some work I was doing over the weekend. Ran around the truck hooked up the battery and wallah was blinded by the HID light that was currently facing in the exact position of my head from when I put it down to hook up the battery.

Got to fab up some mounts as there is no way they are going in the stock ones.

Pics to follow
