I just had the rear leaf TSB completed on my 08 Tacoma TRD. Since an alignment is part of the recall, I went ahead and replaced the front stock Bils with Bils 5100 set at 1.75 lift.
What a difference!!
The handling, feel and look of the truck is night and day difference. No more bouncing in the front and no more body roll. The Tacoma actually feels like a truck to me now-which to me is good for others it might not be.
The Tacoma is still slightly raked but only a little to accomodate a rear load and so that the headlights are not pointing straight up.
Anyhoo, thought I would report the findings here. An excellent change and well worth the 180.00.
