Hey all, just wanted to share a project that I completed. Like many others the weak head lights of the LX have been a major annoyance to me. I finally pulled the trigger and got a new set created. I worked with Tom at www.hidprojectors.com . I shipped him a set of headlights and his team installed Bi-LED projectors. Initially we were just going to update the projectors in the low beams ($650), after he received the lights he let me know they could also install projectors in the high beams ($400 additional). I'm super happy with the finished result.

What was your total cost (minus the original head lights?)

Why did you decide to go bi-led vs bi-xenon? I'm intrigued by this setup as its using the H1 size base. I wonder how these compare to a D2S setup.

Talking to Tom, they do more LED setups these days than Xeon. I didn't give it a ton of additional thought. Important to note that the projectors he installed have integrated LED light sources, so they are not a H1 bulb.

I see that about the bulbs. Contemplating a quad H1 Bi-LED Setup now. 🤣

Very nice HL setup. I didn’t realize until now you’re in Las Vegas as well, neighbor.

One other nice option Tom gave me was the ability to use all four projectors for both low and high beams. The projectors have a sharp low beam cut off so I've verified I'm not blinding anyone but they cast a ton of light.

Nice upgrade Nick!

Those look amazing! Definitely my next upgrade as the ordinal lights are woefully inadequate. You said you bought the replacements lights on eBay... are they new OEM? Do you have a link?

Bought a set like this from eBay. If I had to do it again I think I would have gotten a glass set, and put paint protection film on them to help prevent rock chips.
