Stopped by for a look… it’s absolutely stunning and they haven’t even wet sanded and buffed it. The lead painter has taken my truck under his wing. Working in a large production shop he rarely gets to work on projects like this so he’s vested into making sure it’s flawless. He even feathered in the lower gravel guard.

Did you change the door plastic from grey to black?
No, the dark brown is the stock color I added the caramel color to match the front and rear seats. It was tan

They have a dedicated lift just for undercarriage treatment.... I did not expect them to sand blast the axles clean. I was expecting wire wheel and scraping the
scale. They'll almost look new when it's finished and I'm sure my bill will reflect the blasting but I'm ok with that. I wish I had the funds for a frame off.
How is the IPOR undercoating holding up?

How is the IPOR undercoating holding up?
IPORS process is exactly what you’d expect from a first rate LC shop. The product was Eastwood… rust encapsulator chassis, paint, internal frame coating. I haven’t closely inspected it, but based on what I’ve seen, the product is outstanding, and in my case, they even sandblasted my differentials and axles.I’m dropping off my LX470 for the same treatment

Looks great!!! Looks too good to drive and pin stripe on trails.

Finally got to see it in person. The black is so deep and rich. Spent the day at IPOR finalizing details going through a list of things needed to get this done.
