New '01

Well....

Finally got my '01 100. I've been kicking myself in the rear since I got rid of my 3G 4R. So I'm happy to be back in a yota after 2 years.

Ended up paying $13000 for 150k. A tad more than I wanted but I was 2 miles from my house so I really couldn't beat it.

First project up is to dump the running boards while the carpets soak in resolve.

I look forward to annoying everyone with my noob questions during the build!

Also you might want to clean out the drains in the front wheel wells while you're at it. Save yourself a leaky sunroof later. Bunch of mud and junk accumulate there.

Oh and if you notice a little thingy hanging down off the frame while you're taking off those anti-vibration beams, whatever you do, don't post a question about it. It's the fastest way I've seen to get flamed.

What's worse is if you were to ask why there's no "little thingy" hanging off the frame on the other side.

You mean that "thingy" that hangs down that busted my knuckles up and is preventing me from removing passenger side running board? Ok, I won't ask why it is there. I'll just swear at it!

I'm days away from ditching the running boards, and I'm trying hard not to go overboard on fixing and modifying it right away.....
