i have a fj40 with four link coil spring in the back spring over in the front. my ? is for a dd driver is would you link the front is well. and should i use air shock all the way around and do a way with coil spring. or let it ride like it is. i need some good help. thanks for your time

All depends on the outcome of the geometry of your links and spring rates, sway bars will be a must at least on stiff front mounted sway bar thats detachable for offroad. I would not use air shocks on a heavy truck or a DD.

If you need to know thess answers you seek you may need to seek a profesional to get it done, Or do alot of homework before you start.

for a daily, I wouldn't personally bother....anything is doable, but the air's are best suited for offroad-type use....my front SOA and rear 1/4-ellip 4-link is great on the road and on the trail - 60" of combined travel has been plenty...

I'm working on a front link design now...may implement sometime this summer. My rig is quite light (3800# - lol) and I'm gonna run 14" stroke 2" SAW airshocks. Gonna try the airs in the rear first without a sway bar, then with, then 3-link/panhard the front with airs (all experimental for a future buggy build...)

I got lucky with my rear link design, did make minor adjustments when I swapped rear axles, but it's overall very stable.

I wouldn't want to experiment with a daily tho :D
