Hey, guys I've got a set of 33x12.5 inch tires on Toyota sr5 aluminum rims. I need a set of rims that will work with my FJ40 if anyone has any they'd like to trade for the aluminum ones or sell cheap let me know! I suppose I could also use a set of wheel spacers (minimum size of 0.5 inches thick)

Anyway let me know if you have anything that might help me!

you can use some old toy brake rotors for spacers...just cut off the center and its about 1/4" thick...used them to fit the boggers on my 40 for grad...with the wheel spacers you might have to look at longer wheel studs tho...

wouldn't disk rotors be considerably thicker then 0.25" thick? however that might just work... I imagine I'd probably have to redrill them to make the holes the right size. Do you figure there'd be any issue with rust? I guess I could just spray them down with rust paint before installing them eh.

nope....not much over 1/4" all you want is the center section of the rotor, its maybe 8" around or something and then the part that is actually used for stopping is garbage, you dont need it. i can take a picture of what i used if you want...pretty straight forward though. and no redrilling needed unless you get an 80 series rotor which has threaded holes for the wheel studs...just go to a shop that does brakes and ask for some old 6 bolt rotors. should fit right on.

i have 2 sets of 15x10 rims which both came off 40's i would like 100 for each set. 1 is gray wagin wheels and the other is white i can mount and balance them if you like. pm me

i'll take some pics tomorrow but 8 spoke wagon wheels 1 set gray and 1 set white, fairly deep dish. going camping for the weekend so might not get a chance to post

Tires fell through... anybody have any 33 X 12.5's or similar in reasonable shape for a decent price. With or without rims..

Just a thought but there are usually lots of 33"s (and rims) available in the tires and wheels section of island4x4.com. Usually reasonably cheap, too.

if you are going wheeling on saturday. i live in sooke you are welcome to check them out or i can bring them to work . i can also mount and dismount tires as well.

I'm not sure that I can wheel without a rear axle attached to my cruiser! but hopefuly it'll be back together tomorrow and I can look at them... I don't have any tires to throw on yet... The ones that I had fell through so I'm probubly just going to buy some new ones up island.
