Was a FJ62 gasser, now is a HJ60 diesel with the 5 speed and manual T-case.
If you have a t case shifter and linkage you can part with let me know please send details and price.
Also my manual transmission front driveshaft bolts are not linking up with my T Case flange bolt holes?
Any idea whynow? Guessing there are different drive shafts?
The front driveshaft has larger bolt pattern than the TCase bolt pattern. Any help getting the correct front driveshaft would be appriaited too.
My email is lyonslb@shaw.ca
Thank you from Jim

For the t-case linkage, look to @orangefj45 or @TRAIL TAILOR website. Jason is making awesome FJ60 t-case linkage replicas for the pre-1985 folks w a F55 transmission.
I have no idea what would be different for your HJ60? But again, reach out to Georg for your 2nd question.

I’m just happy to spread the word about @TRAIL TAILOR hard work. And not having to find/source 30-something yo linkage

Yes Jason developed the shifter linkage kit utilizing a used set I sent him snd we both sell the “reproduction kit”.
Jason at @TRAIL TAILOR eill be happy to send you a set.
However …… it’ll be important to know if your current Tcase was originally vacuum or mechanically shifted. If it was vacuum, then you’ll need to change the 2-4 shift rail ( internal ) and a few other parts.

As for your front drive shaft ….. is it the proper length? Are the drive shaft bolt pattern snd front pinion flange compatible? The 6x-series utilized 2 different patterns, pre snd post 05/1985.
We have pinion snd Tcase flanges in stock that will allow you to run the drive shaft with the “bigger” pattern.

Happy to help.

@orangefj45 summed it up above. Our kit is for the mechanical t-case. If you have a vacuum operated case you will need further mods/parts to the kit offered.

Jason
Thanks Jason. I was asking which one the OP needs. Cheers.
