I have a 98 LC with 207k miles and e locker and a 2000 LX with 165k miles with a recently installed 2.5 lift, newly refinished LC 18 inch rims and KO2s. Both are very well maintained. The 98 has a lighter feel driving it and more responsive compared to the LX. Is there a significant weight difference between the two? You can tell when you switch lanes on the LX that it s heavier. I will need to add lift, repair the rust bubble on the tailgate window, new windshield due to wind noise for improper replacement installation by previous owner on the LC. I want to install same 18 inch rims and tires. I intend to order front and rear bumpers, sliders to which one I will keep. The LX being black will show the scratches easily once I take it off road. I like the grey interior on the LC compared to the tan on the LX. I prefer the headlights on the LX and the optitron lit instrument cluster. White is my favorite color on the LC and of course it has the rear locker. I like the look of the LX as she currently sits and just need to order the bumpers and sliders on the LX and consider it done on my build. The LX has lower miles too. I can only spare 1 or 2 days to go off roading due to my busy work schedule but want a vehicle that is built when I can go. Will the LC be more desirable than the LX when it is time to sell due to the lockers? I need to sell one of them since I also have a GX as my daily and an RX AWD that my wife used to drive. I wanted to sell the RX but might be my daily driver when gas prices go up again. Need your advice which to keep based on this factors
