Hey guys, I'm new land cruiser scene and I'm looking into buying a lx450 with factory lockers. Mileage is 158ish and condition is fair. Is 9k too much ? Please help

Buy an FJ60 with a near rust-less body for cheap and build you an expo rig.
You'll be in it less money and lots happier in the end.

It's very hard to price a vehicle without any knowledge other than "fair" condition and mileage.
Do you have any pictures? Perhaps a sale ad?

Lots of "what's it worth" discussions on this site. If this is still a dilemma, I would suggest you search and read through some of those. You'll find arguments regarding variables to consider when gauging used value range from the more concrete such as mechanical, paint, leather condition, to the more arbitrary "it's worth exactly what you're willing to pay for it".
From my experience, if the truck is in above average condition mechanically and cosmetically, never been wrecked, mall cruiser like most of them, $9k is in there. On the high end, but in there.

Yes I ended up buying it for $7800. Maybe I paid a little on the higher end but I was looking for 1 for a while and this 1 had the right mileage and body etc.
