Need spring help!

Im trying to lose about an inch or two on my '85 fj60 which has a soa done. Does anyone know where to de-arch springs in so cal? Or has anyone tried removeing a few of the leaves to drop it? Thanks for any help......

this has got to be a first...wanting to LOWER a 60!!!!
i know SOR sells shims for lowering, but this would only work on SUA's.

i have my reasons for wanting to lower it........drive line and other things.....

What springs are you using now SOA? Stock? Just curious if they can be de-arched. (already flat, etc?)

If they are already flat then I think you will have to recess your spring mount.

A little more info would help. Do you have OEM springs - or lift springs? Anything else done to mod the suspension?
