I am not totally sure what to search for so I am posting this prior to me spending some time in search of answers. Hopefully someone can help me out.
My friend is planning on retiring his heep and buying a 2003 4Runner. Its black on grey leather, a v6 and the limited. What are common things to look for on this vehicle? Its four years old and has aprox. 22,000 miles on it. Are there any known electrical issues or mechanical issues that have been fixed with TSBs? Its a toyota certified used vehicle with 100,000 mile warranty or to 2010.
If he was looking at a 100 series I could help him, but I am kind of alien to the 4runners.
