Got my LR quarter panel munched on by some rocks over the weekend. I'll suppply the parts, but need someone who could R & R and refinish the sheetmetal. Even if it could be just pounded out decently enough for the tailight to go back in, I'd be game.

Redneck but it works, get a rubber football and basket ball, pull the inside panel, put the deflated football in there with the needle inlet at the top and inflate, when the gap opens a little deflate again and put it farther down. I had a smashed quarter panel like that and worked it out so the tailight would stay in, and the lower panel was worked about 80%out...

You dont want to know what a dealer wanted to fix that:eek::eek:

I know my shop price on a 1/4 panel is around $900, and the labor book calls for 9 hours for R&R and refinish. I'll buy the sheet metal, I just want someone with more bodywork skills than me (pretty much anyone) to hang it and paint it.

Perhaps this is a good time to learn body work! I try the football trick this weekend though. Maybe enough of it will pop out.

Been there, done that. Look for an old thread called "Sunny Belly". My rig was rolled, and still looks good. It has all original metal, nothing replaced.
I'm in Prescott now, with a busy business, but will help if I can. PM for phone. I'll do what I can.
