New to the forum and I've recently purchased a 99 LC for the wife to cruise around. I got a great deal on it, but it is missing the skid plates. I really don't plan to ever off-road, except the occasional towing a trailer on a dusty trail to ride dirtbikes, so stock skids are just fine.
If anybody has pulled their skids in favor of some upgraded armor, I would love to get them out of your garage.
First order of business is to fix the door locks. I've got a set of actuator motor sitting in the toolbox, I'm thinking I'll get that done tomorrow and maybe post a small write-up.
I've already learned a ton on this forum, and it was actually this site that convinced me a Land Cruiser was the right choice over a Sequoia.
