Need Roll Cage 73 FJ40 (1 Viewer)

Hey gang, I am new to the club and hope to make my first meeting with my FJ this month. I am in need of a roll cage for my 73 FJ40. Preferably a full cage, but will look at anything anyone has. I don't mind if it needs paint or some work. Shoot some pictures if you have one.

Probably get one built by off-road international just south of you in Rusk Texas. They build great cages 903 683 1599. I think theyre having a sale on roll cages

No sale going on there. They wanted $2300 for a full roll cage. OUCH!!!!!! :-(

MetalTech makes the best cage around for the 40 series. They sell kits that you can weld (or have welded) or they will ship assembled.

The jackson cage is a full cage but keeps the look of the factory rear roll bar. They do full cages that protect folks in the back seat if you have one. Even their assembled stuff is much cheaper than the guy mentioned above.

They are a great company and a major sponsor of our club event, The Round Up.

Does the Jackson Cage still allow for the side saddle seats to fit in the back?

Not sure. I don't run the jump seats in my 69. This link below will give you some more info. Give them a call and tell them you are in LSLC and I referred you. They will hook you up.

For $300 just get a factory bar. Should be able to get one close to free.

If your kids will be in it, I'd spend some more to get something that is there for more than aesthetics

Jackson Cage. So, Yes, you can run jump seats. They have to be the 74-82 jump seats tho.
