Wanted Need OEM power steering pump, Virginia, USA

Hello,

I am in need of an OEM power steering pump that is known to work. I have too pumps currently....one that doesn't generate any pressure and one that doesn't generate enough pressure at low engine rpm. Both we professionally rebuilt.

The cost of the rebuilt pump that I bought last was $139 without a core....so please don't offer me a pump that you are trying to pay your mortgage with =)

Otherwise, if you could help me out, you'd be getting an all original 1980 FJ40 with power steering back on the road.....

I am sure you know this, but a Fj60(81-87) PS pump is the same as a OEM 79+ fj40 pump

problem with the rebuilds, no one can replace the bushing(or some thing) so the rebuilds are hit and miss.........more miss than hit it seems.

its not cheap, but you can still get a new(not rebuilt) pump from Toyota, if you go that way, Member Beno(Onur) here on Mud is the OEM parts pusher.....with great prices.

Good advice, I sent Beno a message at his stores web site. At this point I would prefer to have it working rather than "save" money....buying multiple rebuilt units gets expensive too
