There's a lot of crazy talk about caster, but the important metric is trail. Search for the rake and trail wikipedia article, or check the Milliken and Milliken book.

Most crazy talk involves tons of caster, most reasonable talk involves minimal amounts of POSTITIVE trail.

Crazy talk prevails, and you have no basis upon which to understand that I'm not full of s***. I would recommend picking up a copy of the Milliken and Milliken book, librarys are not in the habit of carrying useful books. I can send the Milliken book with a buddy to NYC this weekend, but I don't like being without it for more than 2 weeks, so if you want to mail it back to me, I can possibly make it appear in NYC this weekend, or maybe you have a NYC library card and maybe they have god technical books.

PM me for my telephone #.

Jon, just read your other post, I think I have some 6 degree shims if you decide to go that way,
I'll look in the "box" this weekend. You can have them.

Start with the basics and get an alignment. My guess is the caster is out. Or possibly a combination of that and toe.

Another possibility would be excessive bumpsteer. Did you drop your pitman arm?

disclaimer: I'm more familiar with 80s so if something sounds crazy it probably is.
