Ok, so after much thought I've decided to go ahead with the old man emu lift for my 07 fj.

I will be running rock sliders,explore1 front bumper with 9000 pound warn winch up front, And Ive decided to run 35" tires all the way around...In order to have this set up i was hoping someone on mud could help me out and tell me exactly what old man emu set-up will work best for my application...If you guys could be spacific on the parts that would be greatly appreciated! That way i know what to ask for from the local retailer...Or if you know of a great deal in BC Canada that would also be awsome!!!!

Thanks Agian!!!:)

You want OME heavies 886 up front. Most go with med's 885's in the rear. And it's Expedition 1, not explore 1.

I'm in agreement with the Capt again.

Yet, I found them too stiff for serious off-roading, which pushed me to an adjustable coil-over (Icon) so I could adjust the spring load enough to give me the lift I wanted without making it so stiff that the front wouldn't compress at all. I don't know how heavy the Expedition bumpers are but they look as heavy as an ARB, so the 886's are probably the best choice...

Awsome! Thanks again!

Do you guys know of a cheap online parts store to order from? or should i just buy the lift on ebay?

Check the guys at ebi .....they got fair prices they are an arb dealer

No argument. I don't have a lot of experience with different suspension setups, but I would imagine just about any adjustable coilover will be better than the 886, purely for the adjustability factor.

I thought OME/ARB USA wasn't recommending or offering the 886's for the front anymore. They never got the springs to match the coilover shocks for the FJC platform (was designed for the V8 Prado platform). I kept blowing the shock valves when I ran 886's. OME happily warrantied them once, then grudgingly a second time; and, then told me to go to the 885's. I went Icon stage 1 instead.
