I recently installed a 1997 SBC 5.0 in my FJ 62 and need some help adapting the compressor and condenser lines to the factory Toyota lines at the firewall. Can anyone point me in the right direction or where to buy the fittings from?

Thanks for any info!

I’ve got the 97 vortec 5.7 in my FJ60 for now until I do the LS3 swap. But your best bet is to go to an A/C shop and have them make the lines for you. It was actually pretty cheap to get done.

Most folks reuse the curved condenser to compressor end of that line, since that fitting is hard to find. I used the Mosley Motors Kit, and had them crimped at a hydraulic hose shop in town. You could certainly get all the fittings and hoses from any decent hydraulic shop as well and skip the kit. Here is what mine looked like before and after crimping.

Not sure which compressor you have, but there are a variety of adapters made for this kind of retrofit that will give you the threaded male fittings to attach the hoses to.
