Well, I have a DVD player mounted up on the ceiling that has no speakers or headphones and am wondering about hardwiring the darn thing to the small media box behind the center console to use the tape deck setting.
What I need is first identify what wires on that pigtail trigger the tape deck so I can divert them to the DVD.
I have no diagram so am hoping someone out there can give me a hint! Thanks

Thanks @ihadmail, it helps a bunch! Is there a key for the abbreviations on the Rear Seat Audio Controller? Some are pretty straight forward of course but others make no sense to me! It would be easier to fish through the wires if I still had the tape deck to pull one at a time and do elimination but it's gone giving the space to my ram mount!
Thanks

Ask and ye shall receive ;) Well, sort of. I cannot find the RSL, RSR, RMUT, TX definitions anywhere in either the body electrical section or in the EWD.

Yep, those were the ones I was wondering about! I'll do some more digging! Thanks

Would they be the speakers?

My best educated guess, partially based off of where those wires connect to and partially based off of randomness would be:

RSR+/RSR- = Rear Seat Right +/- audio signal
RSL+/RSL- = Rear Seat Left +/- audio signal
RMUT = right mute
MUTE = system mute
LMUT = left mute
TX+/TX- = signal transmission to/from the RSA controller itself
SLD = some type of ground, possibly signal ground? shield ground since that's a shielded cable?

I've been searching google for insight and cannot find any usable information.
