My alternator died due to it being covered in oil and gunk.
I have pulled the alternator and now am in the process of trying to find what's leaking.
It's been pretty challenging because there doesn't see to be anything on that side of the motor where oil could leak from.
It's not the valve cover, but there's this little bung that sticks out the block on that side.
Attached is a picture for reference (bung circled in red).
It looks like it should connect to something, but I don't recall pulling a line from it.
Can anyone identify what this is?
