My 96 FZJ80 with 195k miles is misfiring when I drive on rough pavement or when I drive over any kind of bump. As long as the road is smooth I have no problems. The problem has been getting progressively worse. I have recieved a P0401(EGR Error) code once, and several P0300(Engine Misfire). Would you think the problem could be EGR related, or more likely an electical short? Could a faulty EGR system be vulneralble to vibrations causing a misfire? Any advice would be apprecated.
