We were heading home from an awesome weekend in the Steens (until the wind blew us out), and ended up staying the night in Bend on our way back to Portland. Our 99 LX (which has finally become my rig to build after my wife totaled my beloved Tacoma) did great on the trip, in snow, lots of gravel roads, and on the playa in the Alvord. About 20 min north of Bend the truck hesitates, all the electrical (stereo, dash lights, AHC lights, etc) reset, and truck never stops running. The LX did it about 8-10 more times on the way over Mt Hood with no relation to RPMs, engine load, uphill/downhill, # of electric components on. Each time the dash resets SNCC only lights that come on are "brake, abs, AHC off." Never a CEL. Anyone got any thoughts? I am thinking a ground wire is loose after all the washboard roads, but it is a day later and 200 miles of highway driving removed from rough roads.
