Help! I've gone to two places and called four more and nobody wants to work on my '72 FJ40. Any recommendations for an Orange County mechanic? At this moment, I've got a carburetor issue and wanted someone to put in the Painless wireless I purchased foolishly thinking I would do it myself. Thanks.

You don't say who you've called. Try Eric at YotaMaster in Corona. A little further drive, but worth it is John at SD Trux off Miramar in La Jolla.

Long shot, but have you posted in the 40's section this question? Try a PM to OTIS (screen name) and ask him. He owns a beater and a beautifully restored 40.
