Need advise on PS pump

Mine is about dead and a new stock pump is just too costly and I don't have all the tools, skill or place to do any real work on the truck.

Who here in PHX has done the conversion and is willing to talk to me about what it takes and the parts needed?

What type of conversion are you planning? Have you checked the price on a rebuilt stock pump from BAP Imports, etc?

the re-built pump scare me as I've read a lot of bad things about them but I was thinking of the GM conversion but as I said, no space to work on it at the APT. and no exp. at all in doing this type of thing.

i've been using a rebuilt napa PS pump (some GM model) for my 1975 fj40 with minitruck conversion for years...
