Today removed the rear springs from a 99 Taco and can't get the shackle off the spring. It seems to be rusted into the bushing. Any trick in getting this off?

I'll try that, just so I can save the stock shackle.
Today went out and bought new bolts, found it hard to find metric (M14 and M18). Came home and cut some 1/4 by 2 inch flat steel, drilled some holes and walla, 2 1/2 inches of lift in the rear. Oh ya, the donor springs (free) were from a guy who did a OME rear lift. My old POS now lay in the back yard until they go to junk yard.
Now find some front spacers and new shocks all around and I'll have my budget lift - at least good enough for 33s.
