I've run into an interesting problem: after I changed tires to 285/70R17, and now my factory trip computer on my 2004 LX470 doesn't show average fuel consumption and kms left to refueling, but instead it's always 0.0 l/100km.
I suspect that since now GPS speed does not match VSS speed, the computer just gives up. I wonder if anybody experienced this before?
Also, if I buy speedo correction module for VSS, how the vehicle is going to react to that? I know for a fact that it has at least 5 speed sensors (4 in each wheel for ABS) + VSS on transfer case. So if I correct VSS, then it will not match ABS speed sensors and I don't know how ECU is going to react on that.
Any advice is appreciated.
