I am going to do a body swap on my BJ60 with a nice clean AZ body. I think I found a good candidate in the Phoenix area, now all I need is a shop or some space to do the work in. My frame is good, I did that 3-4 years ago in Honduras, now it's time to do the body.

Anyone want to help out a BJ60 owner?
 
I may be able to give you a hand. When are you planning on coming through? I have a lift, large shop and pretty decent selection of tools. My # is @#$@%$^%^& if you want to discuss it more.

Might you also happen to be able to get your hands on a H55F, Bellhousing and T-case for my FJ62?? I want to do a swap in the near future but haven't found a good enough deal yet.

I'm sure I could find the H55, the problem might be finding one with the right input shaft. If you find one in Canada I can bring it down. I'll call tonight.
 
If you happen to have a spare 3B engine you could bring with you I'd be happy to help fund your body swap.

I don't have a spare 3B but I could bring one down if you want. EBI and G&S are both nearby.

Still planning on coming down but won't be till March now. I need to go to Sierra Leone first. "Kavik", still waiting for price from you (or is it free for the taking?).
 
OK, time is approaching, I have several good donor prospects in the Phoenix area. I need to reconfirm shop availability and I can bring parts down, within reason, provided I don't get hammered/hassled by Homeland Security crossing over to the USA.

Yep, I have your number. I'll call later today or next week and see what time works. Do you know anyone with a paint booth? Most of the bodies I've found do not match mine for color so I'll need to get it painted it too (preferably before everything is back in/on).

Do you need/want any parts from up here? I might (don't hold your breath) be able to find an H55 from an HJ60 which does bolt up to an "F" series engine.
 
If you can source and bring me an H55F and matching T-case that would be wonderful, I have everything else here to do the swap already. Also on the paint booth, I do know of one within 3 miles of me and he is very reasonable on price. I will ask him how much to prep and paint it in the coming days.

Tony, sent you an e-mail on a lead for an H55. Let me know if it's what you want and I'll get it. It's about 3 hours away from me.
 
I have this vehicle https://forum.ih8mud.com/parting-out/374358-1986-hj60-partout.html for the H55 tranny/t-case which Tony has dibs on. Anybody else want parts of this beast? The engine is all there along with the wiring harness so it could be swapped into an FJ60 to make it a diesel. Apparently the engine has a knock, I have not started it nor have I taken any compression readings.

If you want any parts of it PM me ASAP so I can make sure the parts are in my truck for the trip to Phoenix.
