Need a huge favor...anyone near Newton, NH with a truck and/or trailer?

My father wants me to pick up a paddle boat for him that he saw on CL. He's away and I am leaving in the morning for Detroit. The boat is at a campground in Newton, NH near Amesbury. It has to be picked up by Thursday and I don't get back until Thursday night. If someone can pick it up for me and hold it till the weekend I would be forever grateful and bring you a case of your favorite beer. Oh and you need to pay the lady $250. I'll obviously pay you back when I pick it up. It's a lot to ask so I won't be shocked if no one responds.

Let me know if you're up for it. It's heavy too and the lady is a little spacey. She said she rented one of those things you attach to the back of your car when she bought it. I said "You mean a trailer?" She said "Yeah, that's what it's called."

I would have to rent one of those things that you attach to the back of your car to pick it up with. There is a u-haul place near by that should have one.

I might just abandoned this idea and tell my father it got sold. Rick, I don't want you going and renting a trailer. I really appreciate the offer though. I owe you some beers just for the gesture.

happy to help, just wanted you to understand what was needed for me to get the boat. There sis a large u-haul center in Salisbury right off the highway that has a yard of stuff so not a real problem for me.

Why can't you explain your situation to the campground and have them hold it till the weekend? Throw them another c note and I'm sure they will comply. Also lying to your father is not such a good idea.
