Did you get the one for sale in Alamosa?

thats the one. I was going to fly but I am rethinking that one, any ideas?

LOL, no, I just happen to live in Alamosa. Knew about that truck for awhile, never could find the owner and then spotted it on Ebay and Craigs list. And I wasnt in a position to bid on it.
If it were me I would fly and drive, but thats just me. Do a search on shipping vehicles, it comes up everyonce in awhile on Mud.

I shipped a vanagon up to Seattle earlier this year for 400.00 I can fly for 400 and change, and then I have to factor in fuel and time. I will probably wind up flying. Did you ever actually see my cruiser in Alamosa, how is it that "you knew about it", anything I nned to know before I pick it up . . . thanks!

Nope, just that there was a rash of 60s that popped up around here in the summer. None were Cruiser people, they dont wave or even take notice of my 60. I couldnt keep two of them straight, the BJ you got and a FJ that is new here too. Then one day I finally saw the BJ sitting somewhere and saw the diesel badge on it.
After that I was driven to catch the damn thing and talk to the owner, but never did. I gave chase once in my 1984 4Runner, but that was not going to happen and lost it in a neighborhood.
Then all of a sudden someone from the front range pinged me about it being for sale. Odd, they never put for sale signs on it.

Oh well . . . You take your chances with EBay. I have been fortunate so far, the PO of the BJ seems like a pretty reasonable guy . . . we will see what his version of surface rust and mine are. Wish me luck, thanks!
