need a back seat latch source...

so the actual rod essentially, that is attached to the side of the back of the back seats, that rests into the grooves. i bought this car, with it missing one on one of the sides. so a person sits down there, and the back bends in bad ways. the other side has one, but is missing the bushing around the rod so this things rattling all over the place. I've looked around different shops, did searches on here, havn't found a source for these parts yet. any leads or is it looking like i just need to hit up the guys parting out there 60s...

btw the bushing sleeve deal i'm not to concerned about, i can get creative with that but the rod deal on the other side is a necessity, with summer coming up and all

i posted up some of these seat parts for FREE a couple months back. Still got 'em at the same fantastic price! You pay shipping. I tossed the frames, but kept all of the hardware - rods, latches, screws, trim pieces, etc. Is it the lower attachment that you're talking about? Let me go back and dig through the boxes of parts. I could email a picture of the pieces that I have and you could tell me the part that you want.

that'd be much appreciated man. it's actually the upper pieces i'm missing. people lean back on the seats and there's no rods to keep the seat from leaning way past the latch mechanism. it's basically all riding on the one side that still has the rod.

I was missing the rubber bumper/bushing things and got them from Cruiser Dan.

Dang it. Here's the exploded view. I think that you need 670 attaches to seat, or 667 attaches to side of car.
