I'm shopping for a 200 series and the one I'm looking at needs a Nav CD.

If a 2008 200 needs the nav CD and you bought one on the internet but when you insert the CD it spits it back out is that just a crappy CD or is there a chance that there is a bigger problem, possibly with the headunit or worse the ECU? Will the Bluetooth work without the nav cd? How is the Bluetooth in an 08? I know there was some quality issues with Bluetooth in cruisers when it cam out a couple years prior.

Don't know about Nav disc eject issue...

Bluetooth in my 08 is for phone/speaker-phone only. Not music.

For music, I've been very happy with a small lighter device that feeds into the aux jack.
Works seamlessly with bluetooth for speakerphone...and fades music out while taking calls. So... Your phone's bluetooth connects to both the head unit (for phone calls) and the lighter/aux jack to handle both phone and music simultaneously.
