As long as it's the Gold version they are well made (by Wix) and most are domestically produced. I've never had a problem with them.
The Toyota filter element has slightly more surface area so they last longer but the pricing of oem over Napa makes for an easy decision IMHO.

Read the issues people have been having with these filters in the 80 series section.... Including one that possibly was involved in the destruction of a 1FZ.

Just get the correct OEM filter and be done with. I never understand why people even question the veracity of the OEM Denso Japanese units.

My understanding is OEM 2h oil filter no longer available??

I ran them for a while on my 12h, but they never seemed to seal properly. Looked wet around the block/ filter connection area. I'd follow Onur's advice and go OEM, not worth saving a few bucks IMO..

Wix (NAPA Gold) filters have a good reputation. Some anecdotes from the 80-series forum have yet to convince me otherwise.

Not available at your local dealer, but still available. Buy a few at a time. The price difference is small enough that the OEM filter is the way to go.
