n00b / Club status?

I posted a brief intro on the main 80 board, but I wanted pop in here and say hey.

I live in the RTP area and just got my first 80 last weekend - 95 FZJ80 w/ lockers. It's a little worn but in good shape overall. I've been wanting one for years, had a mini and a Tacoma - so I'm a n00b to the 80 but not to Toyotas. It's an awesome feeling to finally have an 80!

I was wondering what the status of the club is? I've seen that Upstate Cruisers are very active and Olde North seems to be getting off the ground. I'd like to meet up with folks or whatever, and I'm planning on going to the URE North vs South ride.

I go off of slater road. There is a big dirt pile and real estate sign at the entrance. Sometimes I go to page rd.
